Haiti Rhythm of Our Heartbeat: Kwè is a vibrant celebration of Haitian culture, taking place on Sunday, May 11, 2025, from 4–7 PM at the Little Haiti Cultural Complex. Presented by A Reflection of Me, Inc., Juicing With Art, the City of Miami, and Miami-Dade County Mayor’s Office and Board of County Commissioners, this special evening features an immersive experience of Haitian music, dance, and art. Guests will enjoy a cocktail hour with lite bites, an art exhibition by Zeek Mathias, and powerful performances by NSL Danse Ensemble, Strings, saxophonist Wildmayer Marcelin, singers Ernst Pierre and Dr. Nancy Calixte, and a theatrical piece by Ny Toussaint and Samuel Duperval. Co-hosted by Michaila Hightower (WPLG Local 10) and professional soccer goalkeeper Brian Sylvestre, the event will also include a keynote by author and humorist Castro Desroches and a message of hope from Jinia Williams. This unforgettable evening is the signature event of a month-long cultural celebration running May 1–31, 2025, honoring the resilience, beauty, and soul of Haiti.
