The Let’s Build It Youth Empowerment Program (YEP) is a six-day experience for youth ages 13–18 that blends creativity with critical life skills. Using the arts as a foundation, YEP promotes self-awareness, healthy relationships, leadership, and informed decision-making through expert-led sessions in photography, poetry, painting, music, and design. Each day explores themes such as self-image, community, wellness, civic engagement, and future career pathways. The program culminates in a public art exhibition celebrating youth voice and growth. YEP takes place July 7–12, 2025, at the North Miami Library and is presented in partnership with the Miami-Dade County Mayor’s Office and Board of County Commissioners, North Miami Library, Dale Laboratories, and numerous local presenters and artists.
